Description


The Random Directions into a Sphere option generates a user defined number of rays with random directions into a sphere at each of the ray positions.

This feature can be accessed by selecting Random directions into a sphere as the ray direction type on the Positions/Directions tab of a detailed source dialog box.

Ray Directions

Type

Drop down menu of ray direction types. Select Random directions into a sphere.

Single Direction (plane wave)

Parameters

Num Rays

The number of rays generated at each ray position defined.

OK

Accept settings and close dialog box.

 

Cancel

Discard settings and close dialog box.
