Description


The Multiple source positions ray direction specification allows multiple instances of the Focus to/from a point direction type in a single source.  Rays follow a direction originating from the specified position and pass through the ray positions at the source.

This feature can be accessed by selecting Multiple source positions as the ray direction type on the Positions/Directions tab of a detailed source dialog box.

Application Notes


Raytrace direction

This direction specification operates in the "From point" mode only. Setting the z-value to a positive value will cause rays to trace in -z direction.
