Description


The Random Plane option defines random grid of ray positions in a plane.

 

 

Navigation


This feature can be accessed by selecting Random plane as the ray position type on the Positions/Directions tab of a detailed source dialog box.

Ray Positions

Type

Drop down menu of ray position options.  Select Random Plane.

Grid plane

Parameters

Num Rays

The number of rays randomly distributed across the ray bundle in the X and Y directions.

X Outer Semi-Ape

Ray bundle semi-diameter in the X direction.

Y Outer Semi-Ape

Ray bundle semi-diameter in the Y direction.

X Hole Semi-Ape

Ray bundle hole semi-diameter in the X direction.

Y Hole Semi-Ape

Ray bundle hole semi-diameter in the Y direction.

Aperture

This is a pull down menu with the available ray bundle parameter shapes.

Rectangular

 

OK

Accept settings and close dialog box.

 

Cancel

Discard settings and close dialog box.

 

Apply

Apply settings and close dialog box.
