The Intensity Spread Function can be shown in four different angle spaces. Only the first option, Show in Angle Space, shows the intensity as Power/steradian. In the other cases, the solid angle has been mapped to a different angle space, so the intensity is shown as power over a solid angle unit other than steradians, [sr]. In all four cases, the total integrated power is the same and is given by the summation of each pixel's intensity multiplied by its solid angle.
This feature can be accessed by right mouse clicking in the main spreadsheet function chart and selecting "Show in ... Space" from the list menu.
The Angle Space conversion converts versus qx and qy, where qx2 + qy2 = qR2 and a = qx * sin( qR) / qR and b = qy * sin( qR ) / qR.
Show in Direction Cosine Space The Direction Cosine Space plots the intensity versus the a and b direction cosines, where a2 + b2 + g2 = 1.
Show in Direction Cosine Angle Space The Direction Cosine Angle space versus Fx and Fy , where Fx = arcsin( a ) and Fy = arcsin( b ).
Show in Direction Tangent Angle Space The Direction Cosine Angle space versus Fx and Fy , where Fx = arctan( a ) and Fy = arctan( b ).
