Description

Creates a Implicit Script surface from functional form defined in script. FRED supplies the x,y,z coordinates. The user supplies FRED with the implicit functional form of the surface as f(x,y,z) = 0 in addition to the first derivatives of f with respect to x, y and z. This surface function can be verified using a Test Point Dialog.

Application Notes

Surface deformation

The Implicit Script Surface is a sagable surface.

Document Modifications

It is strongly recommended that the script make no modifications to other nodes in the FRED document.

If a change is made to the document during the raytrace by way of the scripted entity, the state of the document as seen by each individual thread of the raytrace will be inconsistently defined and the results of the raytrace may not be valid.
