Description
This command allows editing of the FRED document general file comments. This comment section can be used to keep a log of model changes/edits or otherwise present useful information and notes to the operator of the FRED model. A message will be reported to the output window if the model contains a general file comment so that the operator will be notified of its presence in case the comments window is not selected to automatically open on file load. The maximum number of characters that can be entered into the General File Comments is 1,000,000.

Show this dialog when opening any FRED file (preference)

Toggles the Preference setting to automatically open the general file comments dialog when there is content present in the dialog. If no content is detected in the dialog, or the preference setting is unchecked, the general file comments dialog will not be displayed unless the "Always show..." option (below) is checked.
