Description
This command specifies a new subassembly for the current FRED document. Elements, Custom Elements and other Subassemblies can be added as child nodes. Surfaces and curves cannot be added directly to a subassembly, they must first be added to a custom element.
Navigation
This command can be accessed in the following ways:
•Menu > Create > New Subassembly
•Toolbar button: 
•On the Geometry folder in the object tree view, right mouse click and select "Create New Subassembly..." from the list menu.
•Ctrl + Alt + S

Shows the bounding box of the Subassembly.

Position/Orientation
|

Location
|
The table of linear transformation operations that specifies the location and orientation of the source.

Coordinates system of parent

|
Accept settings and close dialog box.

Cancel

Discard settings and close dialog box.
