Description

Once the attributes in the 2D and 3D charts have been modified via the Advanced chart settings dialog box, the settings can be made the default chart settings by saving them with a special file name and location.  A separate help document written by the 3rd party vendor of the chart software, Component One, is available by using the Help button at the bottom of the Advanced chart settings dialog.

Chart file locations

The chart settings files must be saved to the .../Resources/Charts folder of the root FRED directory.  Usually, the full path will be "C:\Program Files\Photon Engineering\FRED X.XX.X\Resources\Charts\saved_file.ocX".

Chart settings can be saved by using the "Save" button on the Advanced chart settings dialog, accessible by right mouse clicking in an active chart window and selecting "Advanced" from the list menu.
