Description
This analysis function computes the coherent scalar field for unpolarized rays and allows analysis of complex field quantities such as energy, amplitude, signed amplitude, real part, imaginary part, phase and wavefront.
NOTE: Polarized rays are ignored in this calculation.

Pre-Analysis Ray Operations
Delete old rays and recreate all active sources
If checked, existing rays are deleted, and new rays are created before the analysis proceeds.
Unchecked if rays exist. Checked if no rays exist.
Raytrace all active rays
If checked, any existing rays are raytraced before the analysis is performed.
Unchecked if rays exist. Checked if no rays exist.
Plot the rays as they are being raytraced
If checked the rays will be drawn to the 3D view when traced.

Create Analysis Results Node (ARN)
Adds an Analysis Results Node (ARN) to the Analysis Results folder on the object tree. The ARN being created stores the results of, and information about, the analysis being performed.

Name Prefix
The name of the ARN on the tree will be formed by combining this name prefix with an automatically generated numeric value, ensuring that the resulting ARN has a unique name string.

Application Notes
Multi-threaded operation
The Coherent Scalar Wave Field and its script equivalent are multi-threaded so that calculation times will decrease if you have a multi-processor PC. The number of processors used for the calculation is determined in the same manner as the raytrace multi-threading.
Multiple wavelengths
When a coherent field calculation encounters multiple wavelengths, the calculation will proceed using only the first wavelength which satisfies the ray filter criteria. A warning dialog will be displayed which provides the wavelength range and the value used in the calculation (to 7 significant digits). All other wavelengths are ignored.
