Description


Creates a polynomial asphere surface by specification of the base radius of curvature, conic constant and even and odd X and Y polynomial aspheric coefficients.  The table below describes the mathematical form of the Polynomial Asphere surface type.

This feature can be accessed by selecting Polynomial Asphere (Conic with X and Y polynomial aspheric terms) as the surface type on the Surface tab in a surface dialog box.
