Description

This preferences page allows you to set the units of measurement for new systems. Changes made on this page only apply to new systems, not the current FRED document. To change the units of an existing FRED document, use Menu > Tools > Units and Scaling.

Navigation

This feature can be accessed by selecting Tools > Preferences from the menu, and then clicking on the Units of Measurement tab.

Controls

Control	Inputs / Description	Defaults
Length Units	Listing of all possible units of measurement	Millimeters
Use abbreviated name	Checked or Unchecked	Checked

OK	Accept settings and close dialog box.
Cancel	Discard settings and close dialog box.
