Use this command to copy selected data onto the clipboard. If there is no data currently selected, this command will not be available. Copying data to the clipboard replaces the contents previously stored there. In general, anything that can be selected can be copied. This includes text, numbers, tree objects, and multiple selections of these things.
When copying and pasting objects from the tree, all dependencies required to duplicate the object are automatically copied with the base object. For example, if a surface constructed by extruding a base curve were selected for copying, the surface AND the base curve get copied and pasted together to ensure that the surface can be properly duplicated.
