This command copies the currently active document view to the Windows Clipboard for pasting into other software programs (similar to a screen capture).
This command can be accessed in the following ways: •Menu > Edit > Copy Active View to Clipboard •On the toolbar, press this button:
The FRED window can be simplistically broken into panes. For example, the main FRED document view contains a pane for the document tree structure, a pane for the 3D visualization window and another pane for the output window. Ensuring that the proper active view is captured is as simple as first clicking on the pane of interest and then selecting the Copy Active View to Clipboard command.
