Description Updates a predefined element (Lens, Mirror, Prism, etc.) to reflect any changes made to its member surfaces.
Syntax UpdateElement n
Parameters n As Long Node number of the predefined element to update.
Remarks This subroutine updates an individual FRED entity to reflect any changes made to it. If there is a problem, the subroutine returns without setting an error or updating the entity.
During the update process the element examines its member surfaces and recomputes apertures, trimming volumes, trimming surfaces, etc.
