Num rays halted due to no more intersections found (info:1)

Indicates the number of rays for which no further valid intersections exist.

Num rays halted due to exceeding total number of allowed intersections (info:2)

Indicates the number of rays for which the Intersection Count Cutoff Total value in a Raytrace Control has been exceeded.

Num rays halted due to exceeding number of consecutive intersections on the same surface (info:3)

Indicates the number of rays for which the Intersection Count Cutoff Consecutive value in a Raytrace Control has been exceeded.

Num rays halted due to unwanted position (info:4)

Indicates that the rays exist outside of the bounding volume that encloses the system's source and geometry (a.k.a. the "universe").  This error is printed when volume scatter or GRIN materials are being evaluated.

Num rays halted or not created due to unwanted propagation direction (info:5)

Indicates the number of rays halted due to the presence of a user-defined directional apodization.

Num rays halted or not created due to low absolute transmitted power cutoff threshold (info:6)

Indicates the number of transmitted rays whose absolute flux values fall below the Specular Ray Power Cutoff Threshold set in a Raytrace Control.

Num rays halted or not created due to low absolute reflected power cutoff threshold (info:7)

Indicates the number of reflected rays whose absolute flux values fall below the Specular Ray Power Cutoff Threshold set in a Raytrace Control.

Num rays halted or not created due to low relative transmitted power cutoff threshold (info:8)

Indicates the number of transmitted rays whose relative flux values fall below the Specular Ray Power Cutoff Threshold set in a Raytrace Control.

Num rays halted or not created due to low relative reflected power cutoff threshold (info:9)

Indicates the number of reflected rays whose relative flux values fall below the Specular Ray Power Cutoff Threshold set in a Raytrace Control.

Num incident rays generating no scatter rays due to low scatter ray power

Indicates the number of rays whose child ray fluxes fall below the Scattered Ray Power Cutoff Threshold set in a Raytrace Control.

Num rays not created due to exceeding allowed specular ancestry depth (info:13)

Indicates the number of rays that exceed the allowed Specular Ancestry Level Cutoff set in a Raytrace Control.

Num incident rays not allowed to create scatter rays because would exceed allowed scatter ancestry depth (info:14)

Indicates the number of rays that exceed the allowed Scatter Ancestry Level Cutoff set in a Raytrace Control.

Num rays halted or not created because would be evanescent (info:15)

Indicates the number of rays halted or not created as a result of an evanescent component. FRED does not propagate evanescent fields.

Num rays not created because Total Internal Reflection not allowed (info:16)

Indicates the number of rays not created because the Allowed Specular Operation - Total Internal Refl is not enabled.

Num rays halted due to exceeding allowed number of steps in inhomogeneous material (info:17)

Indicates the number of rays halted as a result of exceeding the allowed number of steps in an inhomogeneous material as selected in the Common Gradient Index Material Parameters and Other Parameters section of the Material Tab.

Num incident rays halted by scatter model (info:21)

Indicates the number of rays halted by selection of the Halt Incident Ray check box on a Scatter Model definition dialog box.
